Wow, I haven't blogged in a long time. Ha ha. I guess I just get caught up in other stuff and forget about it. You know, things like, ummm, my 5k race this mornong. Yep.
My family and I all got up at about 5 this morning. (It was still dark outside!!) Then, we headed downtown to go run a 5k race. That was... interesting. Well, mostly because it was about 30 degrees outside. We were all bundled up wondering how exactly we were suppossed to race in all those layers! I don't know, but we obviously got it together and we all did fine in the race. It was still cold when we finished though. Oh, and then we were trying to cross the street to get to the car but we got stuck by the half marathon and marathon runners. You know, only a few... 3 thousand half marathon, 8 thousand marathon... well maybe a tad more than a few. But anyway, it took forever then we finally all just had to cut through all the runners because we couldn't wait for eveyone. Eventually we got home and we were all VERY tired. Well, time to go to bed now!!!

Homecoming Week
Ah yes... homecoming. A time when wacky kids wear wacky stuff. After having a long weekend, we all went back to school on Wednesday. Wednesday was called wacky wednesday or, in other words, tacky day. That was a lot of fun. Although, there were a few people who kind of over did it in some ways. For example, one dude dressed up as a girl and it was pretty awkward. Then, today was Traditional Thursday, also very fun! On Traditional Thursday, freshman are babies, sophomores are nerds, juniors are camoflauge, and seniors are hippies. Yeah, it's awesome. So since I'm a freshman, I got to dress like a baby. That was extra fun because I wore pajamas to school. It was very comfortable. If only we could do that every day! School would be SWEET! But back to reality. Tomorrow, friday, will be class color day. Freshmen are yellow, sophomores are blue, juniors are green, and seniors are red. I will be all decked out in yellow. Anyway, I hope to have a great time with the rest of homecoming. I know I will! So that's homecoming!

Cross Country
I started back at cross country practice today after two weeks off. It was a little rough, but I lasted through it. I have been feeling sore for a while. I tried to get back in it today since our last race is on Friday. I don't want to be all not ready for it and then do really bad. So we'll see how it goes. I'm just hoping to do okay!! ;)

My Day
This morning Matthew, my 8 year old brother, had to go to the orthodontist to get a spacer in his teeth fixed. He just got home, and now I'm watching both of my little brothers until about 2 or 3 this afternoon. When my parents get home we will have dinner. After that, I will go to youth band practice at like seven. Then I can get ready for school in the morning and go to bed.

Craziness!!
Ok, so today my mom and I went to the Catholic Charities and helped out for a little while. Then, we went out to lunch. After that, we went to many restraunts and stores to help collect donations for the auction with Catholic Charities. That was very hectic. Some people were very nice and immediately gave us gifts and stuff. Some people, however, were a little on the rude side. It got my mom kinda stressed but it was still fun. This week at school it homecoming week stating on Wednesday. That'll be fun! Can't wait. Anyway, love ya. Bye! TTYL!
